Action-packed day from the get-go! I took Atelino out for an afternoon of fishing with Lock It Up Charters in Key Largo, FL. We set sail in the summer heat, leaving the dock at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park under partly cloudy skies. The water looked promising as we headed out for our 4-hour trip. It was just Atelino and me, which meant we could really focus on maximizing our time on the water. Despite our efforts and the variety of techniques we employed, the fish weren't cooperating as much as we'd hoped. But that's fishing for you – some days they're biting, and some days they're not. Even without landing any keepers, Atelino and I had a great time out on the water. We had a great time out on the water today with Don Harrison on the 2 Hour Trip (PM) with Lock It Up Charters. The weather was absolutely perfect, with clear skies and calm seas—great conditions for targeting some of the top inshore species in the area.

We started the trip by fishing some of the wrecks and reefs near the coast, using a combination of live bait and lures to try and entice some of the snapper onto the line. It didn't take long before the rods started bending, as we started hooking into some nice Gray snapper and Lane snapper. These feisty fish put up a great fight, keeping us on our toes and giving us plenty of fun and excitement.

The bite stayed strong throughout the trip, and we managed to land a nice mix of quality snapper. It was great to see Don's skills on display, as he expertly guided us to the best spots and helped us work the fish. Even though we didn't load the boat, the two of us had an absolute blast and left with some delicious fillets to take home.

What a great day out on the water with the crew from Lock It Up Charters! Donna Drew and her group had an awesome time fishing with us. The weather was absolutely perfect - sunny skies, calm seas, and light winds made for ideal conditions.

We started the day Trolling and Jigging, and quickly hooked into some feisty Yellowtail snapper. The fish were really active and hitting our lures hard. After a while, we switched it up and tried some DeepSea fishing with our Heavy Tackle. That's when things really picked up, and we started pulling in a nice mix of species, including some good sized Mahi and a tasty Tuna. Everyone was grinning ear to ear as we reeled them in.

Throughout the day, we also tried our hand at some Light Tackle fishing, which was a lot of fun. The fish were really putting up a great fight on the lighter gear. We snapped some awesome photos and videos of the catches, which I'm sure the group will enjoy looking back on. Overall, it was just an amazing day out on the water, filled with great fishing, good company, and plenty of laughs.

What a day on the water we had with Jessica! The conditions were just about perfect - a slight breeze keeping the air crisp and the water calm as glass. As we headed out, you could feel the excitement building. There's nothing quite like the thrill of a great day of inshore fishing, and I knew we were in for something special.

We started the day working some of my favorite spots, focusing on light tackle techniques that I knew would give Jessica the most engaging experience. It didn't take long before the action started heating up. The first fish to hit the line was a feisty gray snapper, putting up one heck of a fight on the lightweight gear. Jessica handled it like a pro, carefully working the fish in and getting it safely on board. The big smile on her face said it all - she was having the time of her life.

Things got even more exciting when Jessica hooked into a powerful crevalle jack. These fish are known for their lightning-fast runs and acrobatic jumps, and this one was no exception. The way it carved through the water had us all on the edge of our seats, cheering Jessica on as she fought to land it. When she finally got it alongside the boat, we couldn't believe the size and power of this incredible fish. Holding it up for a photo, the pure joy on Jessica's face was something I'll remember for a long time.

But the real showstopper had to be the gray triggerfish. These unique, colorful fish are always a thrill to catch, and this one put on quite a display. As Jessica worked to reel it in, we could see it darting and twisting, using every trick in the book to try and get away. But Jessica kept her cool, and when she finally got it onboard, we were all in awe of its vibrant patterns and prehistoric-looking features. It was the perfect way to cap off an already incredible day.
